As the summer heat gives way to the cool breezes of September, Game Haven is turning up the excitement with a lineup of incredible events you won’t want to miss. From epic D&D campaigns to thrilling prereleases and tournaments, there’s something for every gamer. First up, from today to September 6th, our parking lot is going through some renovations so please do not park in any spot that has a red marking near it.

Embark on a New Adventure with our new Dungeons & Dragons event:

 

The Adventurer's League: Water Deep After Dark

Calling all adventurers! We’re excited to announce our brand-new weekly D&D Event, exclusively for ages 14+. Starting September 9th, join us every Monday from 7 PM to 11 PM for an epic journey through Waterdeep: Dragon's Heist, led by our talented Dungeon Master Alex. This campaign will feature some exciting twists from the Alexandrian Remix, so even seasoned players can expect a few surprises!

No need to worry if you miss a session—our campaign includes downtime for catching up. Plus, new players joining later will have their characters’ levels match that of the highest Adventurer. All you need to get started is a character created using Adventurers League rules. Entry is $20. For more information about character creation, check out our event calendar on the front page.

 

For our younger adventurers, we offer the Heroes Hangout!

Don’t forget we also offer Kids D&D every Thursday from 6 PM to 8 PM. Entry is $15, and each participant gets a free snack and drink!

Get ready, trainers! September is packed with exciting Pokémon events:

Scarlet & Violet: Stellar Crown Prerelease

Each participant will receive 1 Build & Battle Kit to play that contains the following:

​• 1 40-card ready-to-play deck
​• 1 of 4 promo cards
• 4 Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet — Stellar Crown booster packs
​• 1 deck-building tip sheet

We have three events scheduled so check out the dates and times bellow:

• Sunday September 1st at 1 PM
• Tuesday September 3rd at 7 PM
• Sunday September 8th at 1 PM

Pokémon League Cup

September 22nd at 11 AM (Doors open at 9:30 AM for in store registration)
Entry is $30 for Masters & Seniors, $20 for Juniors. Decklists are required, so be sure to come prepared. Preregistration is available here and strongly recommended. If there are any cards you need for the tournament, please place an order on our TCGPlayer Pro page at least day in advance so we can have everything ready for you to compete. We hope to see you there!

Pokémon League Challenge

Our monthly challenge returns on September 29th at 1 PM. Entry is $10 for Masters & Seniors, $5 for Juniors. Decklist are required, so be sure to come early to fill one out or bring one with you. Participants will also earn Championship Points! Save your spot today!

 

One Piece TCG: Two Legends Prerelease

One Piece fans, this one’s for you! The newest set, OP-08 Two Legends, is coming soon, and we’re celebrating with a prerelease on Saturday, September 7th at 1 PM and 4 PM. Get ready to battle it out and preregister through the Bandai Namco App to secure your spot.

 

Digivolve Your Skills: Learn to Play Digimon TCG

Ready to change into a Digital Champion? On September 18th at 6:30pm, we're hosting a Learn to Play Digimon event. Our friend Kyle, a dedicated member of the Game Haven community, will be your guard as you learn the ins and outs of the Digimon Card Game. Whether you're new to the game or just looking to sharpen your skills, this event is perfect for you. Don't miss out on a free opportunity to evolve your gameplay.

RCQ Round 8 - Bloomburrow Sealed

Join us on September 15th at Noon for a Bloomburrow Sealed event with a Top 8 draft. Entry is $50 per person, with some awesome promo cards and store credit prizes up for grabs. Preregister here to save your spot. Stay tuned for more info on our next 2 RCQs coming in October!

Duskmourn: House of Horror Prerelease

Step into the spooky plane of Duskmourn with our prerelease events:

• Friday, September 20th at 7 PM
• Saturday, September 21st at Noon & 5 PM
• Sunday, September 22nd at Noon (2HG) & 5 PM

Special Announcement:

The Duskmourb Draft-a-thon, due to this month’s packed schedule, will be held on Saturday October 12th.

Join us for all-day drafting starting at Noon, with a $20 entry fee per draft. Each draft fires as soon as 8 people are signed up. The format is single elimination, and the Top 2 players from each draft get free entry into the next one!

Board Game Night: Weekly Adventures

Our Board Game Night continues every Thursday at 6:30 PM. Dive into a world of excitement playing classic games, and demo new ones with fellow board game enthusiasts! This event is led by our Store Manager Jake, an avid gamer with a penchant for card and board games. Check out this month’s featured games:
