Standard Showdown - New Prizes Starting This Friday!

With the newest of Cowboy Bebop promos being released, this month's Standard Showdown brings exciting additions to prizes:

• 3-0 Players: 5 packs (convertible to $5/pack in store credit), a Cowboy Bebop Disdainful Stroke, Ossification, Lunar New Year Dragonlord's Servant, and a full set of Omenpath Basic Lands
• 2-1 Players: 3 packs (also convertible to $5/pack in store credit)
• Everyone else: At least 1 pack!
• Random Participant: 1 Cowboy Bebop Disdainful Stroke, Ossification, and 1 random Omenpath Basic Land

Union Arena Bleach: Thousand-Year War Release Event

Board Game Night - October Schedule

Our Board Game Night continues every Thursday at 6:30 PM. Dive into a world of excitement playing classic games, and demo new ones with fellow board game enthusiasts! This event is led by our Store Manager Jake, an avid gamer with a penchant for card and board games. Check out this month’s featured games:

Duskmourn Commander Party

Step into the haunted halls of Duskmourn in our Commander Party! Players will explore a spooky mansion, unlocking rooms by spending mana. Each room brings surprises that affect the game, so embrace yourself for a thrilling experience. Who will escape, and who will be lost to the shifting horross?

• When: October 5th at 2pm
• Prizes: Each participant will receive $5 in store credit and a retro frame foil Crippling Fear promo

 

MtG Modern RCQ

October 6th at Noon (In-Store registration starts at 11am). Test your skills in our Modern Regional Championship Qualifier!

• Entry: $40
• Format: Modern with cut to Top 8
• Entry Promo: Each participant will receive 1 nonfoil Sleight of Hand (while supplies last)
• Top 8: Each player will receive 2 nonfoil Supreme Verdict and store credit based on number of attendants
• Top 2: Each player will receive 3 additional Sleight of Hand, 1 additional nonfoil Supreme Verdict, 1 foil Supreme Verdict, and an invitation to Regionals!

Duskmourn Draft-a-Thon

On October 12th, starting at Noon, the fan-favorite Draft-a-Thon is back for Duskmourn! Join us for a full day of drafting with a cheaper entry fee, and the Top 2 players of each draft get free entry into the next one!

• Entry: $20 per draft
• Format: Single Elimination Draft
• Each draft fires as soon as 8 people are available
• Top 2: Free entry into the next draft or $20 store credit.

Duskmourn: Trick-or-Treat Chaos

On October 25th and 30th at 7pm, you can celebrate Halloween with our Trick-or-Treat Sealed Event! Each participant will receive a goodie bag filled with a mix of Duskmourn and random boosters, plus a special Trick-or-Treat emblem that will help you claim your victory!

• Entry: $20
• Cap: 24 players per event, 1 event per person.
• Goodie Bags Include:
• 4 Duskmourn Play Boosters
• 2 Random Boosters (Play, Draft, Collector, or Mystery)
• 1 SPecial Trick-or-Treat Emblem
• Format: Sealed Chaos, 3 swiss rounds, each 50 minutes

For those who don't like sealed, no worries! We have a Chaos Draft planned on each day for those who still want to embrace the madness! Entry for Chaos Draft is $12 + the price of packs (or $25 if you choose Standard Packs), Commander and Un-Sets excluded. Check out our selection of packs in-store as we have some cool sets back in stock.

 

Pokémon - Surging Sparks Prerelease

Each participant will receive 1 Build & Battle Kit to play that contains the following:

​• 1 40-card ready-to-play deck
​• 1 of 4 promo cards
• 4 Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet — Stellar Crown booster packs
​• 1 deck-building tip sheet

We have three events scheduled so check out the dates and times bellow:

• Sunday October 27th at 1 PM (Before League Challenge)
• Tuesday October 29th at 7 PM
• Sunday November 3rd at 1 PM

Pokémon League Challenge

On October 27th at 4pm (Immediately After Prerelease) you can test your skills in our Monthly Pokémon League Challenge! Decklists and Player IDs are required, so please arrive early to prepare if you don't have them already. Compete for Championship Points and store credit prizes, and join in on a day of fun and strategy! 

• Entry: $10 for Seniors & Masters, $5 for Juniors
• Format: Standard
• Prizes: Championship Points and store credit based on number of attendants.
• Check back later for tickets to preregister.

 

Duskmourn Sealed RCQ

Join us on October 26th at Noon (In-Store Registration begins at 11 am) for our second RCQ of the month, this time featuring a Sealed Duskmourn format!

• Entry: $50
• Format: Sealed Duskmourn with cut to Top 8 Draft
• Entry Promo: Each participant will receive 1 nonfoil Sleight of Hand (while supplies last)
• Top 8: 2 nonfoil Supreme Verdict
• Top 2: 3 additional Sleight of Hand, 1 additional nonfoil Supreme Verdict, 1 foil Supreme Verdict, and an invitation to Regionals!
