This season, Game Haven is all about sharing a little extra magic! Our "Take a Token, Leave a Token" was inspired by one of our community members to bring extra joy during the holidays. Here's how it works: Draw Your Own Token: Pick up a blank token card from the counter and craft your own one-of-a-kind design. It can be festive, whimsical, or completely out of the box! Submit For Review: Once your token is complete, bring it to a store employee for a quick check to ensure it's family-friendly and fun for anyone. Give And Receive: Add your token to the exchange bin and take one in return! It's a little surprise, a little gift, and a lot of fun! Whether you're creating something seasonal, sentimental, or silly, this is your chance to connect with the community through art and imagination. November: Warm Up Your Game Nights
This November, Game Haven has an exciting lineup of events that bring together all things Magic, Pokémon, D&D, and more! Whether you’re here to explore the latest Magic: The Gathering release, dive into D&D campaigns, challenge other Trainers, or test your skills in board games, we have something special waiting for you. Read on for all the details: Magic: The Gathering Foundations Prerelease We’re kicking off the month with the highly anticipated Foundations prerelease! Challenge yourself in one or all of our five sealed events for a chance to wield legendary spells and face iconic Planeswalkers. Each entry is $40, or register for all five events for $175. Can’t make it in person? No worries—we offer an At-Home option with two extra boosters. Event Times: November 8 at 7 pm (Sealed) November 9 at Noon & 5 pm (Sealed) November 10 at Noon (2-Headed Giant Sealed) November 10 at 5 pm (Sealed) Save your spot and register here! Magic Academy With the Foundations release, Wizards of the Coast have created the Magic Academy! We’re hosting two classes to introduce new players to Magic: The Gathering. Learn to Play (Free) – On November 24th at 2pm, learn the basics with our staff’s help and receive a free intro deck and reference card. Deck Building ($35) – On November 30th at 2pm. Each player will receive six Foundations boosters to build a deck with guidance from experienced players. Participants in either event get a sticker sheet, promo card, introductory deck, and a helpful guide. Friendly helpers receive a limited-edition Pinfinity Tutor Pin! Duskmourn Store Championship – November 17 at 11 am Show off your deckbuilding prowess in our End-of-Year Store Championship on November 17th at Noon! For $25, test your skills in the Standard format for a chance to win exclusive promos! Each entrant will receive a nonfoil Chromatic Sphere promo (while supplies last), Top 8 will get a foil Reality Smasher promo and 1st place will get a foil textless Void Winnower promo! Standard Showdown – Promo Special Put your deck to the test in our Standard Showdown, every Friday at 7pm for epic prizes! We’re dishing out some of the hottest promos around!
