Holiday Hours Reminder

Due to the Holiday season, our hours will change ever so slightly. We will be closing early at 9pm on Christmas Eve, December 24th, and will be closed for all of Christmas Day, December 25th.

 

Gamer Gift Lists

The season of gift giving is upon us!

Gamers tend to have a variety of interests that family and friends want to nurture, but are unsure of where to start. Have they bought the item for themselves? Did someone else already purchase it? What do you even pick up for a gamer?

 

Have no fear—Game Haven is here to help! We have created a “Gift List” to make holiday shopping easier!

Stop by, ask for a Gift List and fill it out with a list of things you hope to receive for the holiday season. Game Haven will keep lists on file and keep track of what has been purchased.

All your friends and family have to do is stop at the counter and ask for your list by first and last name—we’ll take care of the rest!

Remember, these are gifts for you so once your list is turned in, you can’t check to see what was purchased. You’ll find out when you open your gifts!

Christmas Eve Chaos Draft

When: December 24th at 4pm | Entry: $15 | Format: 4 Pack Chaos Draft, 3 Rounds, 50-Minutes Each

To celebrate the holiday season, we’re offering a special Christmas Eve Chaos Draft. For $15, players can bring 3 packs of their own (with some exclusions) and Game Haven will gift them 1 random pack, or players can pay for 3 packs from our wide selection and receive 1 random pack. Exclusions are Commander Sets, Set Boosters and Un-Sets.

Not only will players receive regular prize support, each participant will receive 1 random promo card.

Ladies Magic Lounge

When: December 26th at 7pm | Entry: $Free | Format: Open play Commander

Ladies Night will now be moved to the last Friday of each month. On December 26th at 7pm, come join our assistant Manager, Sham, in a night of gaming! Each participant will receive 1 MtG promo card.

Avatar 2HG Tournament

When: January 10th at Noon | Entry: $30 | Cap: 24 Players (12 Teams) | Format: 2-Headed Giant, Unified Construction, 3 Rounds, Best of 1, 50-Minute Rounds

Join us for a 2-Headed Giant Commander tournament. Pick a partner, grab your decks, and battle side by side in this epic team format! Each participant will receive 1 promo card and 1 mini Avatar Poster, Top 4/8 teams will receive store credit as prize based on attendance, and the Winning Team will receive 2 MtG themed Banners. Please show up with a partner. If you do not have a partner, we will do our best to find one but can not guarantee one.

MtG RCQs - Season 4 - Round 3

When: January 11th at Noon | Entry: $70 | Cap: 40 Players | Format: Sealed Avatar , Cut to Top 8 Draft, 50-Minute Rounds, Rounds Based on Attendance

First RCQ for this round will be January 11th, 2025, the format is Avatar Sealed w/ cut to Top 8 Draft.  Each participant will receive 1 nonfoil Flowerfoot Swordmaster promo. Top 8 players will receive 2 nonfoil Manifold Mouse promos. Top 2 players will receive 1 foil Manifold Mouse, 1 nonfoil Manifold Mouse, 3 nonfoil Flowerfoot Swordmaster and an invite to Regionals! Additional prizing in store credit for Top 8 players based on attendance.

Land, Go - Black Lotus Invitational

When: January 24th at Noon | Entry: $50 | Cap: 64 | Format: cEDH (Competitive Commander), 80-Minute rounds

We’ve partnered with our friends at Land, Go again to host a Black Lotus Invitational! Top 4 players will receive some amazing cards for their collection. 1st Place will receive a Lion's Eye Diamond while 2nd-4th will receive a Mirrodin Chrome Mox + Alliances Force of Will! Store credit will be added to prizing once entry exceeds 32 players. First place Winner will also receive a tournament invitation for the chance to win a Black Lotus!

Lorwyn Eclipsed Prerelease

When: January 16th - January 18th | Entry: $40 for 1 kit or $175 for 5 kits | Format: Sealed Lorwyn Eclipsed, 3 Rounds, 50-Minutes each

Lorwyn Eclipsed - Box League

When: January 16th - 22nd | Entry: $150 | Format: Open play Commander

Players will receive 1 sealed booster box of Lorwyn Eclipsed to build a 100 card commander deck. Boxes can be picked up as early as January 16th at Noon to start deck construction. Games begin on January 17th. Each participant will receive 1 foil Buy-A-Box promo card (while supplies last) just for participating and can win 1 Lorwyn Eclipsed  booster pack per game played (limited 2 packs per day).
