July 19th, 10am Start time

Event Structure:

5 Rounds of swiss with a cut to top 16.

Wins = 5 points, Draws = 1 point.

80 minute rounds, cut to top 16, and top 4 will be untimed rounds.

At time in the round, the active player will finish their turn, and if a winner has not been determined, the game is a draw.

This tournament will utilize the MTR/IPG Addendum created by TopDeck and will be held to Competitive REL standards.

Playtest Policy:

Players may use “test cards” with recognizable art or MDFC placeholder cards that are fully legible with the same thickness as magic cards. MDFC cards will require full oracle text, mana cost, card types and name. Printed pieces of paper in front of a magic card will not be permitted. A maximum of 15 MDFC placeholder cards will be permitted per deck.

If you are unsure if your playtests are acceptable please consult a judge or tournament organizer before the event starts.

Prizing:

At 32 Players - (approx $1.5k)

1st 1x MP Underground Sea

2nd-4th 1x LP Taiga each

At 64 Players - (approx $3.5k)

1st: 1x MP Underground Sea + $250 store credit

2nd-4th: 1x LP Taiga + $150 store credit each

5th-16th: $100 store credit
